At President Trump’s latest trial hearing, a surprising guest arrived to show support: former Saturday Night Live host Joe Piscopo.
Comedian Joe Piscopo is another ally who attended the hush money trial last week to support his friend President Trump. During an appearance on “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” with Fox News’s Neil Cavuto, Piscopo explained, “When this trial started to unfold, and if you layer it back like you do on the television or on the radio, we still don’t know what the crime is. I said, ‘I’m going to show up just to show respect to President Trump.” Piscopo added, “That’s all that was, a sign of friendship.”
President Trump and Piscopo have been good friends for years, and Piscopo elaborated on their friendship, explaining that Trump has shown great loyalty before.
According to Fox Business, Piscopo refers to his exclusive interview with President Trump during a campaign rally in Wildwood, New Jersey. Piscopo elaborated, “ I’ve known him 100 years, and we’ve always had a nice relationship. So, I wanted to show loyalty because there’s none of that anymore.”
Piscopo shared a memory of staying at one of President Trump’s hotels during a downtime in his career and how President Trump had supported him. Piscopo explained, “You don’t forget that, you know. So say what you will, I’m a guy of loyalty and friendship.”
Piscopo’s move to support his friend shows that not everyone in show business is afraid to show their support for President Trump, despite how the liberal media paints the narrative.
Alan Dershowitz, a professor emeritus at Harvard Law School, seems to agree. RSBN reported that Dershowitz wrote, “Today there is no check on partisan reporting of trials and exaggerations and personal opinions are rampant.”
In his closing statement, Piscopo emphasizes, “We got to stop with the hate.”
