President Donald Trump sat for a Friday morning interview with “Fox & Friends” in New York after his epic roast of Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party at the annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner on Thursday night.

The hosts began the interview by asking the 45th president how he thought his speech went at the dinner, to which he responded, “I thought it was great. I thought, well it was for the Catholic Church really, and for a lot of good people, a lot of good causes. And unusually she didn’t show up, you would have thought she would have shown up last night.”

As RSBN reported, Harris submitted a video roast that was played at the dinner instead of attending as every presidential candidate has in the last four decades.

When asked for a preview of Cabinet positions, Trump quipped that it was too early to name names but made clear that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was “gonna be a part of it.”

He told the hosts, “He had a big impact because he’s very much into women’s health and health, and he’s very much into the environment which a lot of people like. People really like him; he looked good last night.”

In another segment of the interview, he praised Elon Musk for his commitment to innovation. “This guy is unbelievable,” Trump remarked.

Trump expressed his enthusiasm for Musk’s support, stating, “This guy is campaigning, he is actually campaigning for me in Pennsylvania.”

He also applauded Musk for his efforts to provide internet connectivity to flood victims in Georgia and North Carolina in recent weeks.

He told the hosts, “He gave me the nicest endorsement, really of anybody. Having his endorsement meant a lot.”

Trump also took questions from video callers, including a teenager with high-functioning autism who asked about his plans for school choice. Trump reassured the boy that he would get the control of schools “out of Washington” and return the power to the states.

The hosts also asked Trump about his upcoming temporary employment position at McDonalds, curious if he was actually going to take on the task.

“Oh, I’m going, because she lied,” Trump replied. He told the hosts that his team checked out Harris’ claim that she worked at Mcdonald’s and no one could verify her employment.

One of the hosts asked if he was going to get trained to make French fries, to which Trump responded, “Well, I don’t know how much the training will be.”

Another host interjected and stated, “Not too much salt.”

Trump paused, stared ahead for a moment, and then remarked, “Oh, I love the salt,” prompting laughter from the hosts.
