As the 45th president faces more criminal counts in yet another indictment related to the “boxes hoax case,” his attorney, Alina Habba, cautioned the president against taking a plea agreement since “he’s not done anything wrong.”

Habba claimed she would never suggest the president take a plea agreement because doing so can be viewed as “an admission of guilt” when speaking with Shannon Bream on “Fox News Sunday,” according to The Hill.

“He would never admit guilt because there was nothing wrong with declassifying documents taking documents with you negotiating with [National Archives and Records Administration],” Habba maintained while insisting that she could “never imagine” the president submitting to a plea deal.

“The only thing that was wrong was the raid on his home and the complete dual tier system of justice that we’re seeing here, when the Biden family is being treated completely differently than the Trump family,” she continued.

Habba’s remarks come after another indictment of President Trump by Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is currently in charge of the investigation into the alleged  “classified” documents taken from the president’s Palm Beach home in an unconventional FBI raid last year, according to RSBN.

In response to the announcement of the indictment, the president issued a statement on Thursday.

“I never thought it possible that such a thing could happen to a former President of the United States, who received far more votes than any sitting President in the History of our Country, and is currently leading, by far, all Candidates, both Democrat and Republican, in Polls of the 2024 Presidential Election. I AM AN INNOCENT MAN!” the president maintained, according to RSBN.

President Trump also granted an exclusive interview to Fox News Digital after the indictment was announced in which he referred to the Biden administration as “the most corrupt” of all time.

“This is the most corrupt administration in history — there has never been an administration so corrupt, and they’re just starting to find it right now,” the president said. “They are trying to deflect all of their dishonesty by bringing this ridiculous boxes hoax case.”

President Trump will address the media following his arraignment in Miami on Tuesday.
