President Donald Trump leads Vice President Kamala Harris among Arab American voters in a new poll.
The Semafor poll, conducted for Arab News and YouGov, surveyed 500 Arab Americans nationwide on their likely choice for president.
The study “suggests a massive Arab-American turnout for the upcoming US presidential election (87 percent), with Palestine being the top priority, and former President Donald Trump enjoying a 2 percentage point lead over Vice President Kamala Harris,” the study reported.
The survey was conducted by a sample 500 Arab Americans nationwide from Sept. 26 to Oct. 1 2024. The survey data have a margin of error of +/- 5.93 percent.
Trump was also chosen as better at bringing peace to the Middle East despite Arab Americans in the poll believing he is more supportive of Israel than Harris.
The results of the poll were reported as Trump criticized Harris and former Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney, claiming Arab voters are “very upset” at them.
“Lyin’ Kamala has stooped so low as to pick a woman to campaign with her who lost her Congressional Race by the largest margin, 40%, in history. The record holder is Crazed Warhawk Liz Cheney, whose father, Dick, convinced Bush to go into the Middle East and KILL. Now Kamala wants Arabs to vote for her? I don’t think so!” Trump posted to Truth Social early Tuesday.
Trump also highlighted a New York Post article on his Truth Social account Monday night of UFC fighters telling Michigan Arabs to vote for Trump as a “peacemaker.”
“I don’t care if you’re Jewish, you’re Muslim, you’re Christian — people are dying,” he said. “Now do you really miss President Trump? Because in four years he created the Abraham Accords. Maybe it was not perfect, people, but nobody died,” MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz said.
“I think Donald Trump brought four years of peace,” he added. “Now you see the whole world has war: in Gaza, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, now Iran. The whole world is going crazy because I don’t think the people respect the leadership of the United States right now.”
