President Donald Trump spoke out on Truth Social Tuesday morning to thank former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick for her endorsement.
Patrick recently endorsed Trump and spoke Monday night on Fox News with Jesse Watters about her political views.
“Thank you to the incredible Danica Patrick for such a wonderful and heartfelt Endorsement. I have always been a fan, such courage and talent. MAGA LOVES YOU!!!” Trump posted.
“It feels like voting for Donald Trump is like the vote of reason. It’s like the rational, reasonable choice,” Patrick told Watters.
“There is a difference definitely between the way that men and women are voting, and I think maybe one of the reasons why women are having a harder time with the vote is just his personality,” she continued.
“That’s the most common answer you hear from people. ‘I just can’t vote for him.’ I don’t think that’s a good enough reason. You don’t have to go to dinner with him. You just have to like the country that you live in,” Patrick added.
Watters also asked Patrick for her reaction to Trump appearing at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s to work on Sunday.
“I think that he has a great sense of humor. I think that he is a man amongst the people. I feel like when you wrap that up with the humility that he has, the sense of humor that he has, the off-the-cuff confidence that he has. His ability to go so unscripted and be in so many scenarios where he has to essentially be himself, it’s pretty much all of them. That’s not just something you see from the other side, which I think is one of the most endearing and important qualities about him is that he is just being him,” she told Watters.
Patrick recently endorsed Trump during a Las Vegas event last month and has since continued as a vocal part of his campaign, RSBN reported.
“People didn’t like that. People looked at me like I was some radical right-wing MAGA. MAGA has got this awful connotation to so many people and you know what? All it did was light a fire.
“I will not be judged to live in America, be a proud American, say ‘I love America’, and want to make America great again. I won’t be judged for it. Instead of quieting down, I am gonna get louder!” she said at the September event.
“I was raised in a middle-class family. My parents love their garden; they still do. But my parents instilled really good values in me. Instilled values to dream really big, to be honest, and to work hard,” she added.
