It’s no secret that President Donald Trump helped shape the skyline of New York City, having spent the majority of his life in the real estate business, streamlining the luxury brand of “Trump,” and employing thousands of New Yorkers over the past several decades.
On Thursday, President Trump made a triumphant return to New York City on the heels of tough political battles in what was both a symbolic and meaningful gesture of love to the community that built him.
“We are not going to abandon our hope and our pride,” Trump told a crowd of tens of thousands who were gathered in Crotona Park in the South Bronx to hear him speak. The turnout for the event far exceeded expectations.
Trump even remarked that New York’s finest had “brought in a lot of additions” to beef up security.
From the 1970s and beyond – and from his historic real estate deals on properties like The Commodore Hotel and the futuristic and gilded design of Trump Tower – Donald Trump’s name has been synonymous with New York grit, chutzpah, and the American dream.
Now, he’s taking the city back from left-wing failure, high crime, and corruption.
“We’re going to make New York bigger, better, and more BEAUTIFUL than ever before and that includes right here in the BRONX!” he declared.
He promised that as soon as he returns to the White House in a prospective 2025 presidential administration, he would move immediately to work with the NYC mayor and the state governor to clean up the Empire State.
He continued, “I am going to pick up the phone and I’m going to call your mayor and your governor and I’m going to say, ‘This is President Trump, and I want to come back and help.’ Look, you have a Democrat governor, and you have a Democrat mayor, and we are going to get this state and this city at a level that it’s never seen before.”
Trump continued, “It doesn’t matter whether they’re Democrats or Republicans because this is about our city and our country, and it’s really about the people and in this case, the people of New York City, New York State, we’re going to make you very, very happy.”
He quipped, “And Biden can’t do it – he doesn’t know he’s alive!”
