President Donald Trump took a punchy swing at “Crooked Joe Biden” on Monday on Truth Social, amid news that Biden would be bowing out of the traditional presidential Super Bowl interview for the second year in a row.
Trump wrote, “Crooked Joe Biden has just announced that he will not be doing the big Super Bowl Interview. A great decision, he can’t put two sentences together. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO REPLACE HIM – would be ‘RATINGS GOLD!’”
According to The Hill, Biden declined to sit with CBS News for an interview that would have aired before next week’s Sunday Super Bowl, which has become somewhat of a tradition for American presidents.
This is also the second year in a row that Biden has refused to sit for the interview.
The 2024 Super Bowl LVIII will feature the San Francisco 49ers against the Kansas City Chiefs.
