President Donald Trump left the stage to help an audience member who passed out during his Wednesday rally in North Carolina.
According to the Post Millennial, he left the protection of bulletproof glass on stage to check on the health of his supporter.
Political commentator Ryan Fournier posted another video of Trump talking to the woman on X. Trump shook her hand and hugged her after ensuring she was okay.
This act of compassion sparked a wave of support from fans online.
Writer Allen Mashburn expressed his appreciation of the moment and wrote, “That’s my President.”
Conservative organization Loud Majority founder, Kevin Smith, said, “He is truly a man of the people.”
Vietnam Veteran John Flarety wrote, “Trump loves us and loves this Country,” and encouraged critics to, “Take some time to get to know him.”
Social media political analyst Justin Theory pointed out, “This is the first time he’s used bullet proof glass for an outdoor rally, and he leaves the safety of it.”
Trump is known for often reaching out to everyday Americans. From buying pizza for New York first responders to aiding the people of East Palestine, Ohio, in their time of need after the train derailment disaster, he does not shy away from being among supporters.
The 45th president also addressed several key political issues during Wednesday’s rally, including attacks against Vice President Kamala Harris.
“She ran against Biden. There were 22 people running. She was the first to leave. She quit,” Trump said. “She never made it to the first state in the primary.”
“We have stupid people running our government, and she’ll be worse than Biden because he wasn’t really a believer, but she’s a radical Left believer,” he added. “She ruined San Francisco. She ruined California, and if she gets in, our country doesn’t have a chance.”
