President Donald Trump can draw a crowd like no other candidate or president in history, and on Saturday, droves of supporters in Clinton, Iowa, reminded the nation just how beloved he is in the Hawkeye State.
A source close to the Trump campaign told RSBN that a reported 2,000 people poured into Clinton Middle School in a venue meant for 1,115, stretching from the arena to atrium seating.
Outside, crowds lined up for hours, as eager MAGA voters and likely caucus-goers. One Iowa Caucus Team Captain told RSBN’s Brian Glenn on-air that many people who were standing outside before the beginning of the president’s speech probably weren’t going to get into the building due to the overflowing attendance.
The president’s speech in Clinton capped off a busy weekend of campaigning in the great state of Iowa with barely over one week to go until the caucuses. It was also President Trump’s second Commit to Caucus rally of the day, following a two-hour speech delivered in Newton.
The president further gave remarks in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday to RunGenZ, a non-profit dedicated to mentoring and empowering the “next generation of GenZ leaders.”
