Trump reiterates call for law and order after NYPD officer killed

President Trump spoke to the press outside a Long Island funeral home after attending the wake of Jonathan Diller, an NYPD police officer who was shot and killed by a career criminal on March 25 in Queens.

The 45th president said that he had just finished visiting Diller’s wife and their “brand new beautiful baby, sitting there innocent as can be, and doesn’t know how his life has been changed.”

He told the press, “We have to stop it, we have to get back to law and order, we have to do a lot of things differently because this is not working, this is happening too often.”

Diller worked for the NYPD for three years and gave the ultimate sacrifice while protecting the streets of the nation’s largest city.

President Trump has long called for a return to law and order, making it one of his top priorities for Agenda 47.
