President Donald Trump is maintaining a solid lead in GOP primary polling this month despite relentless politically fueled attacks aimed at dashing his 2024 presidential campaign.

In a 2024 national Republican primary poll from Emerson College, Trump led his chief opponent, Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., by 38 points, holding 59 percent of GOP primary voters’ support.

A recent survey from McLaughlin & Associates also found that Trump led DeSantis by 33 points, netting 25 percent of support against DeSantis’s 19 percent among GOP voters. Similarly, Trump additionally was strongly favored over DeSantis in a head-to-head matchup, where voters preferred Trump by 67 percent compared to the Florida governor’s 32 percent.

“We’re winning BIG, they don’t like it, the RINOS don’t like it, the Democrats don’t like it but, most of all, the Marxists & Communists don’t like it,” Trump wrote earlier this week.

Per RSBN, Trump also led solidly in a general election survey from Rasmussen Reports, which found that Trump was leading Joe Biden at 45 percent of support compared to Biden’s 39 percent.

Trump’s favorable polling comes even as he has remained the target of political and legal attacks. Last week, the president was arraigned in Miami on 37 charges related to purportedly “mishandling” alleged classified documents taken from his home, Mar-a-Lago, last year.

The trial for that case has been set for August 14, although it is rumored that Trump’s legal team may file a motion to extend the date, RSBN reported.

Trump was also indicted on 34 felony counts related to “falsifying” business records at the behest of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

“The only reason I have these absolutely ridiculous investigations against me, headed up by racists and lunatics and radical left maniacs, is for purposes of ELECTION INTERFERENCE,” Trump wrote recently.
