President Trump lit into reports that Maricopa County, Arizona has been having vote tabulation problems on Tuesday, declaring that the “people will not stand for it!!!”
“Reports are coming in from Arizona that the Voting Machines are not properly working in predominantly Republican/Conservative areas,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Can this possibly be true when a vast majority of Republicans waited for today to Vote? Here we go again? The people will not stand for it!!!”
On Tuesday morning, the chairman of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, Bill Gates, informed voters that 20 percent of voting centers were having issues with tabulators.
“Another voter tabulation problem in Arizona. Sound familiar?” Trump further chastised on Truth Social.
With reports of long lines at the polls as eager Americans head out to cast their ballots for their candidate of choice, some Maricopa County voters were disenchanted in Anthem, Arizona, when poll workers explained that the voting machines weren’t even working:
Former director of National Intelligence for President Trump, Ric Grenell, encouraged Arizonans to stick it out and stay in line to vote. “Be a part of this historic Red Wave,” he said.
Trump amplified the same message, telling his Truth Social users to “…GET OUT AND VOTE. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
