President Donald Trump said that there is no “price tag” on his plans for the nation’s largest mass deportation program when he returns to the White House.

Trump shared the comments during an interview with NBC News on Thursday that addressed the border.

“We obviously have to make the border strong and powerful and, and we have to — at the same time, we want people to come into our country,” he stated. “And you know, I’m not somebody that says, ‘No, you can’t come in.’ We want people to come in.”

Trump also clarified that there will be no limitation on the budget necessary to protect the nation’s borders.

“It’s not a question of a price tag. It’s not — really, we have no choice. When people have killed and murdered, when drug lords have destroyed countries, and now, they’re going to go back to those countries because they’re not staying here. There is no price tag,” he continued.

The interview came on day after the Biden administration warned migrants on Wednesday not to make a push to illegally cross the southern border before President Donald Trump takes office in January, RSBN previously reported.

A Customs and Border Protection (CBP) spokesperson shared a statement concerning messaging urging migrants to enter the U.S. before Jan. 20, 2025.

“Migrants should not believe the lies of smugglers,” a CBP spokesperson said. “The fact remains: the United States continues to enforce immigration law, and migrants should use safe, lawful, and orderly pathways to come to the United States.”

Trump was endorsed by the U.S. Border Patrol Union during his campaign due to his strong support to protect the border.

Paul Perez, the president of the National Border Patrol Council, shared his strong support for Trump during an Arizona rally in October.

“If we allow border czar Harris to win this election, every city, every community in this great country is going to go to hell,” Perez said. “The untold millions of people unvetted, who she has allowed into this country that are committing murders, rapes, robberies, burglaries and every other crime will continue to put our country in peril.”

“Only one man can fix that. That is Donald J. Trump,” he continued. “He has always stood with the men and women who protect this border, who put their lives on the line for the country.”
