President Donald Trump highlighted the unrelenting carnage that has been facilitated by Joe Biden’s catastrophic open border policies during remarks delivered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Tuesday afternoon.
The president called the open border policies “country changing, country threatening, and country wrecking,” contrasting the Trump-era immigration policies that facilitated safety against Biden’s disastrous lawless approach to the border.
“Many of them are military age – you don’t see many women coming in,” Trump remarked.
The president pointed to rising migrant crime, drawing attention to the “prisoners, murderers, drug dealers [and] mental patients” coming in from across the globe, citing countries of origin like Yemen, Somalia, the Congo, and China,
“It’s a border BLOODBATH!” he declared. “And it’s destroying our country, it’s a very bad thing happening!
Onstage, Trump was joined by a fleet of local law enforcement officers who stood behind him while he gave his remarks, which were primarily focused on “Joe Biden’s Border Bloodbath.”
Trump noted that although Grand Rapids was “1,283 miles from the southern border” he wanted to contrast the difference between his administration’s border policies and Biden’s.
He said that when he left office in 2021, the border crossings were at the lowest point in history, and then when Biden took office, “It looks like a rocket ship went off.”
The 45th president also promised to end the “border bloodbath” upon a prospective 2025 administration. “It’s going to end the day that I take office,” he pledged.
