President Donald Trump weighed in on the so-called “Nikki Surge,” in the GOP primary polls, a phenomenon that has reportedly sprung up in the wake of Gov. Ron DeSantis’s, R-Fla., floundering presidential campaign.

On Truth Social, the 45th president posited, “Where’s the Nikki Surge? I hear about it from the Fake News Media, but don’t see it in the Polls, or on the Ground.”

In Iowa, President Donald Trump has an unprecedented 32-point lead ahead of the Jan. 15 caucuses, catapulting him far and away above the rest of the Republican primary field, via the Des Moines Register/NBC News.

In their poll, DeSantis trailed with 19 percent of support, while former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley earned 16 percent. Nationwide, DeSantis is the runner-up to Trump in the latest Morning Consult data, holding a distant second place as the 45th president reigns with a 54-point lead.

Haley was third in their national poll, lurking just three points behind DeSantis.

In a Georgia state primary poll from CNN/SSRS, Haley snagged the runner-up position in a neat tie with DeSantis, where they both earned 17 percent of the Georgia primary vote. However, Trump still maintained his dominance in the Peach State with a 38-point lead.

In South Carolina’s GOP primary poll (via Trafalgar), Haley eclipsed DeSantis by nine points. Haley formerly served as the South Carolina governor, so it makes sense that she would have a good chance of overtaking DeSantis in the polls on her home turf.

Despite Haley’s gain in Trafalgar’s poll since August (a gain of 15 points), President Trump is still maintaining momentum in the Palmetto State with a hefty 49 percent of support, giving him a comfortable 26-point lead over Haley.

On Truth Social, Trump wished his political opponents well, facetiously commenting, “In any event, I hope she [Haley] and DeSanctimonious are doing well, and continue the same ‘Surge’ as they’ve had for the past eight weeks!”
