The coalition campaigns of President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. continue to call on Democratic voters to acknowledge how their party has become unrecognizable in recent years.

On Friday morning, Trump shared a new advertisement from Kennedy’s running mate Nicole Shanahan which detailed a new “treatment” for Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS), called Independence.

Shanahan wrote, “My team never sleeps,” with a laughing face emoji in the text shared alongside the video on X. The video has been viewed over 3.2 million times since Thursday afternoon.

The ad is formatted like the prescription drug advertisements commonly shown during commercial breaks. The first scene features a family watching the news and scoffing at Trump hugging a child.

The narrator asks, “Are you or your loved ones suffering from illnesses such as TDS, also known as Trump Derangement Syndrome? Do you dismiss or deny the current issues facing our country, such as historic inflation, illegal immigration, corporate corruption, World War III escalations, and the chronic disease epidemic?”

The ad shifts to a clip of President Joe Biden and Harris as the narrator asks, “Are you willing to elect someone who was the least popular vice president in modern history, and who offers no policy or vision for America, simply because your brain keeps telling you, ‘Anyone but Trump?’ If so, you might be struggling from TDS.”

Following the pharmaceutical-like advertisement script, the narrator introduces the “drug” named “Independence.”

“Introducing Independence. Independence allows you the freedom to finally think independently once again. Instead of believing everything you hear from the mainstream media, Independence allows for constructive critical thinking.”

An Independence “user” describes how she once believed everything the media told her, as the ad shows a video of a prominent media figure stating, “Donald Trump and the movement he has encouraged are a threat to democracy.”

She then says, “With Independence, I now realize the media is run by the Democrat elite who are a corrupt oligarchy that censors free speech, silences political opponents, supports forever wars, and abandons democracy by anointing its candidates.”

The narrator tells viewers, “Independence may not be for everyone. If you enjoy being lied to about your president’s cognitive abilities, support Orwellian totalitarianism, or are excited about Communist fiscal policy, Independence may not be right for you. Common side effects of Independence may include an awakening of rational thought, successfully identifying propaganda, freedom of choice, loss of hatred, anti-narcissistic behavior, and love of democracy.”

Another Independence “user” then added, “I used to blindly hate whoever my party was running against. I didn’t care about facts or policy because I was hopelessly indoctrinated. With Independence, I’m much more interested in policies that uphold democracy, and I truly care about the health of our country and its citizens.”

The ad concludes with the narrator stating, “Ask your doctor if Independence is right for you, and enjoy your freedoms once again.”

Kennedy shared a post on X that gave a perfect example of how the mainstream media shifts its stance based on Trump’s support or opposition to issues, which is a common symptom of someone who suffers from TDS.

“This is how they tell liberals what to think,” he wrote.
