A New York court employee was arrested Wednesday after trying to approach former U.S. President Donald Trump at a Manhattan courtroom, where Trump made another appearance in his civil fraud trial. Trump was at the courtroom Tuesday and Wednesday for the third week of the trial, after he attended the first three days of the trial when it got underway earl

President Trump shredded the “political witch hunt” being brought against him in New York on Thursday outside a courtroom where his legal team delivered closing arguments in the months-long civil fraud trial that has been spearheaded by anti-Trump New York Attorney General Letitia James.

In a video posted to social media, President Trump told the press, “This is a political witch hunt the likes of which nobody’s ever seen before. They owe ME damages for what they’ve done.”

He continued, “We have a great company, we’re a very innocent company – we did everything right. They have no witness against us other than Michael Cohen, who’s a discredited felon.”

According to CNBC, AG James has asked presiding Judge Arthur Engoron to foist a whopping $370 million fine on Trump and issue a lifetime ban that would bar the president from ever participating in the New York real estate industry again.

Engoron refused to allow President Trump to make closing arguments himself on Thursday, the outlet further reported, leaving the defense to Trump’s legal team.

Trump told the press, “What we’ve run is a great company, that’s the truth…this is a political witch hunt for election interference…It’s a disgrace, and they should pay ME damages.”

The president was not optimistic that he would get a favorable ruling in Judge Engoron’s courtroom. “…I don’t know that we’re going to get a fair ruling,” he remarked.

President Trump also called the ongoing trial a “sham” and a “shame” in the state of New York and derided how businesses have been fleeing the state due to rising crime and reportedly murky legal practices.

Recently, reports have further emerged that AG James allegedly may have visited the Bide House at least three times between 2022 and 2023, perhaps suggesting possible collaboration between herself and Joe Biden’s administration.

Trump wrote on Truth Social on Thursday, “The purpose of the visit was to illegally coordinate the prosecution of your favorite President, me! This is the Greatest Witch Hunt of all time, but we will win and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
