President Donald Trump flamed Tuesday’s shocking New York jury verdict in the colorful case surrounding allegations from E. Jean Carroll, who has alleged that the president assaulted her in a department store dressing room a staggering three decades ago.
“I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHO THIS WOMAN IS,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “THIS VERDICT IS A DISGRACE – A CONTINUATION OF THE GREATEST WITCH HUNT OF ALL TIME!”
Per CBS, a federal jury found that Trump was liable for “battery and defamation in a civil trial” surrounding the allegations made by Carroll, who has been awarded an astronomical $5 million in damages.
Ironically, Carroll had accused Trump of defaming her after she published a detailed “account” of how he allegedly “raped” her in the 1990s. Trump has repeatedly denied that the event ever happened.
“I don’t know this woman, have no idea who she is, other than it seems she got a picture of me many years ago, with her husband, shaking my hand on a reception line at a celebrity charity event,” Trump recently stated. “She completely made up a story that I met her at the doors of a crowded New York City Department Store and, within minutes, ‘swooned’ her.”
In a recent deposition related to the ongoing case, Trump honestly insisted, “She, I would not have any interest in.”
Carroll’s claims have come under the microscope lately, especially as several of her past Facebook posts have surfaced.
The National Pulse shared a few of Carroll’s previous Facebook posts, ranging from 2011 and onward. One post from 2012 salaciously read, “Would you have sex with Donald Trump for $17,000? (Even if you could A) give the money to Charity? B) Close your eyes? And he’s not allowed to speak?)”
