The House Oversight Committee will deliver an important update in the ongoing investigation into the Biden family’s shadowed business dealings on Wednesday, Oversight Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., announced this week.
“I will announce next investigative actions,” Comer stated on Twitter.
The press conference is scheduled for Wednesday, May 10 at 9 a.m. ET. According to the conference description, the committee has stated that they are “investigating the Biden family’s influence peddling enterprise to determine if the Biden family has been targeted by foreign actors, if President Biden is compromised, and if there is a national security threat.”
RSBN reported that the Oversight Committee’s investigation into the alleged corruption of the Biden family’s business dealings with foreign entities has been ongoing. “In the coming days and weeks, a lot of information is going to come forward that’s going to tell a very compelling story to the American people about the extent of this family’s influence peddling,” Comer announced in early May.
Per the committee, they have “already obtained thousands of pages of financial records related to the Biden family and their associates’ transactions.” They also pointed out that they had exhumed evidence that pointed to “several members of the Biden family and their companies receiving over $1 million in more than 15 incremental payments from a Chinese company through a third party.”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., who holds a position on the Oversight Committee, has called the Biden family a “crime syndicate” after reviewing financial information related to their businesses. She has alleged that the Bidens had set up fake LLCs for “money laundering” and has even claimed that Biden family members were receiving money from a reported prostitution ring, based on evidence that she has reviewed.
