President Trump attacked Joe Biden’s horrendous immigration policies, calling his approach a “complete annihilation of America’s borders,” during an energetic Save America rally in Washington Township, Michigan, on Saturday night.
“Our border was sealed,” Trump told the crowd. “We had the lowest numbers ever recorded,” he added about his administration’s illegal immigration numbers.
Since Joe Biden took office in January 2021, there have been over two million illegal immigrants officially encountered at the southern border, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
However, Trump stated during the rally, “The real numbers are even higher than those being reported…Probably even a million people a month pouring into our country – this could be 12 million people a year.”
Trump spoke strongly and authoritatively on the subject of the border, telling the rallygoers that Americans “deserve a president who will stop the biggest invasion ever of our country, and probably of any country!”
He added, “If any part of our country is going to be turned into a migrant camp, it should not be the communities of hard-working Americans – it should be the neighborhoods of the radical left politicians who have callously thrown open America’s borders.”
President Trump spent a lot of time during his rally on Saturday ripping Biden’s weakness on the border, specifically addressing the termination of Title 42, which Trump said “ensured expedited removals” of illegal immigrants who crossed into the U.S. from Mexico.
Trump concluded, “Our country is being systematically destroyed… Even a third-world country protects their borders at least a little bit.” However, he added a hopeful comment with a grin, “We’re going to fix it.”
