President Donald Trump explained his stance on the recent Senate bill that is aimed at supposedly addressing the southern border crisis while simultaneously asking for more money for Ukrainian aid.
The president explained on Saturday at a Commit to Caucus Rally in Nevada that as the “leader” of the Republican Party, “there is a ZERO CHANCE I will support this,” describing the bill as an “open border” betrayal.
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, R-La., has stated that the bill would be “dead on arrival” in the House of Representatives, reiterating Trump’s stance on the legislation, as well.
“A lot of senators are trying, respectfully, to blame it on me,” he remarked with a smirk.
He explained, “We want either a STRONG bill or NO bill.”
Trump called the border crisis the “single greatest threat to our country right now” and noted that “if Joe Biden really wanted to secure the border, he doesn’t REALLY NEED A BILL…It’s NOT that complicated.”
Trump promised, “Within moments of my inauguration, we will begin the largest deportation operation in American history.”
He also told supporters that the radical left “know that we are the ONLY ONES who can stop THEM.”
