Far-left media, The Atlantic, have openly called on the U.S. military to defy President Trump in a brazen coup.
Breitbart reported that the left-leaning magazine has been urging the U.S. military to ignore President Trump and override the U.S. Constitution while using “the language of democracy to demand the military unravel democracy.”
According to Breitbart, The Atlantic had published an article that falsely reported that President Trump “wants to use military power to exert more control over the American people, and soon, top U.S.-military commanders may have to decide whether they will refuse such orders from the commander in chief.”
The article also added, “The president has determined—on his own—that he can go to war against ‘narco-terrorists,’ and he has furthermore decided that he can order the military to blow up these suspected drug runners at will.”
The “suspected drug runners” the article refers to were confirmed drug smugglers in a speedboat off the coast of Venezuela, which is often used as a transit corridor for smuggling drugs. The successful strike happened on October 3.
According to ABC News, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wrote in a post online, “Our intelligence, without a doubt, confirmed that this vessel was trafficking narcotics, the people onboard were narco-terrorists, and they were operating on a known narco-trafficking transit route,” he wrote. “These strikes will continue until the attacks on the American people are over!!!!”
ABC News reported that President Trump revealed that the small boat, which was “loaded with enough drugs to kill 25 TO 50 THOUSAND PEOPLE was stopped early this morning off the Coast of Venezuela from entering American Territory.”
President Trump continues to stand tall against false claims and focuses on protecting the citizens of his country while leftist Confederates openly call for the launch of a constitutional crisis. During a press conference last week, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that the strikes were in the best interest of the country and that President Trump “has been very clear, dating back to the campaign trail, that he is always going to do what’s in the best interest of the American homeland.”
