President Donald Trump warmly thanked the thousands of patriotic Americans who showed up in droves to his Saturday night Save America rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. “It’s impossible to explain how great the people last night were in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania,” he wrote in an official statement released through his Save America PAC on Sunday.

“The level of love they have for our Country is both unbelievable and highly impressive – it is more than anyone would ever know,” he continued. “If the Radical Left Lunatics that work so hard to destroy our Country could just get a little bit of the love, energy, enthusiasm, spirit, and patriotism that we witnessed last night, our Country would go to the top of every list like a rocket ship.”

Saturday night’s event in Pennsylvania was the first rally appearance the 45th president has made on the heels of the FBI’s unprecedented raid of his private home in Mar-a-Lago. Trump delivered remarks to a sold-out arena, where many more rallied outside, hoping to catch a glimpse of the president.

While Trump’s rally was primarily geared toward stumping for Pennsylvania GOP Senate nominee Dr. Mehmet Oz and gubernatorial nominee Doug Mastriano, supporters around the nation tuned into the rally to hear the president address the state of the nation.

“As you know, this week Joe Biden came to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to give the most vicious, hateful, and divisive speech ever delivered by an American president, vilifying 75 million citizens…as threats to democracy and as enemies of the state,” Trump told the crowd, directly addressing Joe Biden’s aggressive rhetoric last week.

Trump later told the audience that Biden was “an enemy of the state,” and encouraged people to vote Republican “if you want to stop this destruction of America.”

Saturday night’s rally drew thousands of attendees. Lines to enter the event were seemingly endless, providing a stark contrast to Joe Biden’s Philadelphia rally, which drew far less energy and attention.

“Thank you to everyone who attended the rally last night,” Trump continued in his statement. “It was a two-hour speech, and the only disappointment was that they were screaming, ‘Please, please, go longer.’ They love our Country, and I love them!”
