President Trump and 18 of his co-defendants will be arraigned in Georgia on Sept. 6 concerning the 41-count indictment brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

The president’s arraignment will take place in the morning, at 9:30 am ET, Just the News reported.

Last week, Trump was formally arrested at the Fulton County jail. Shortly after, his mugshot was shared publicly, marking the first time in American history that a former president had his mugshot taken.

However, Trump’s trip to Fulton County has been a major boon for his campaign. As reported by RSBN, the president’s reelection campaign has fundraised a whopping $7.1 million since last Thursday, shattering their own campaign fundraising records for money raised in a 24-hour period ($4.18 million).

Other co-defendants in the Georgia case include lawyers Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, and John Eastman. Former Trump Chief of Staff Mark Meadows was also indicted.

The case itself has alleged that Trump and his co-conspirators worked to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in the Peach State. The crux of the case rests heavily on phone calls that the president made to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.

Per RSBN, Trump and his current and former associates were charged specifically with utilizing a “criminal enterprise” to usurp the 2020 election results.

The president remarked on Tuesday that the ongoing indictments being brought against him were “part of my political opponents campaign plan.” To date, Trump has been indicted four times in 2023.

He explained on Truth Social, “These Indictments and lawsuits are all part of my political opponents campaign plan. It is Election Interference, and they are going to use the DOJ/FBI to help them, which is illegal. Crooked Joe pushed this litigation hard to get it done. This is a new low in Presidential Politics. To the Democrats, I say, ‘be careful what you wish for.’”
