After two days of jury deliberations, the jury in the ongoing hush money trial against the 45th President of the United States and Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump has rendered a verdict: guilty on all 34 counts related to the alleged falsification of business records.

NCLU Communications Director Paul Ingrassia broke the news on X from within the courtroom, calling the verdict “ABSOLUTELY SICKENING.”

He added, “GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS 1-34. This will be to President Trump’s political advantage, mark my words.”

President Trump has spent the past several weeks sitting for the trial in New York, which has included arduous testimony and long, grueling days in what he often called the “ice box” of a courtroom.

Despite shocking reports of conflicts of interest from Judge Merchan, he did not recuse himself at the onset of the trial. The president called Thursday’s court proceedings “a very sad day for America” and called the litany of trials that he is facing in the courtroom “rigged.”

This is a developing story.
