Donald Trump, a man who is truly the people’s president, spent his Saturday afternoon on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 visiting with New York police officers and fire fighters who embraced him with open arms.
Several heartwarming photos and videos showing President Trump’s surprise visit to New York City began circulating on social media this afternoon as Americans remember the nearly 3,000 lives that were lost to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon on this day 20 years ago.
“We’re not supposed to say it, but I’ll say it. We love the Blue,” President Trump can be heard saying to dozens of New York law enforcement officers.
While President Trump took the time to meet with our brave men and women who work to protect New York City each and every day, Joe Biden cowardly met up with his cronies, including Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and Michael Bloomberg, instead of the people who heroically ran to rescue fellow Americans from the collapsing towers.
Once again showing true American strength and leadership, President Trump praised the “bravery of our police, fire, and first responders of every kind. The job they did was truly unbelievable. We love them, and we thank them,” in a statement on Saturday.
