President Donald Trump vowed on Wednesday to deport Haitian migrants living in Springfield, Ohio.

Trump shared the commitment during and exclusive interview with NewsNation’s Libbey Dean concerning the approximately 20,000 Haitians living in the Ohio community.

“It has nothing to do with Haiti or anything else. You have to remove the people, and you have to bring them back to their own country,” Trump told reporter Ali Bradley.

“Springfield is such a beautiful place. Have you seen what’s happened to it? It’s been overrun. You can’t do that to people. … I’d revoke (the protected status), and I’d bring (the migrants) back to their country,” he added.

RSBN previously reported that Trump announced upcoming visits to Springfield and Aurora, Colorado, following surging migrant crime under the Biden-Harris administration.

Trump shared the provocative plans during his September rally in Uniondale, New York.

“I’m going to go there in the next two weeks. I’m going to Springfield and I’m going to Aurora,” Trump said.

“You may never see me again, but that’s okay,” he continued. “Got to do what I got to do. What happened to Trump? Well, he never got out of Springfield.”

Reports of Haitian migrant problems arose ahead of Trump’s debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, including claims of some migrants eating local ducks and cats.

“This is not sustainable. How about in Springfield, Ohio, they had 32,000 This is a little beautiful town. No crime, no problem. 32,000 illegal immigrants come into the town,” Trump said. “So they almost double their population in a period of a few weeks. Can you believe it? And you know what? They’ve got to get much tougher.”

The trips have since been delayed. Springfield’s Republican Mayor Rob Rue urged Trump not to visit due to safety concerns.

“Should he choose to change his plans, it would convey a significant message of peace to the city of Springfield,” Rue stated, according to The Daily Wire.

The latest vow is part of Trump’s campaign commitment to lead the largest mass deportation operation in the nation’s history if he is elected as president in November.
