President Donald Trump will be arraigned today in Washington, D.C., where he is facing a third indictment and four federal charges related to Jan. 6, 2021.

The president is expected to arrive at court today at 4:00 p.m. ET in a motorcade, where he will be arraigned on those charges in the nation’s capital.

This indictment marks the third time that the president has faced charges in 2023, beginning with a criminal investigation in Manhattan and followed by a federal case in Miami related to supposedly “classified” documents that were seized by the FBI at Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago.

In sum, Trump faces a total of 40 counts related to the classified documents case, 37 counts in the Manhattan case, and another four counts in the Jan. 6 case.

President Donald Trump has strongly condemned the over-the-top charges against him as “election interference” and accused Joe Biden of directing federal agencies to legally target him.

He wrote on Truth Social on Thursday, “Look, it’s not my fault that my political opponent in the Democrat Party, Crooked Joe Biden, has told his Attorney General to charge the leading (by far!) Republican Nominee & former President of the United States, me, with as many crimes as can be concocted so that he is forced to spend large amounts of time & money to defend himself.”

He also commented, “The Radical Left wants to Criminalize Free Speech!”
