Over the weekend, President Trump raked in $50.5 million at a Palm Beach fundraiser, easily eclipsing even the most impressive fundraising records in the country in a single night.

In fact, Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley shared on X that since Trump clinched the GOP nomination this year, the party has raised more than $100 million in just four weeks.

“The enthusiasm and support for President Trump are real and growing!” he wrote.

On Saturday night, Trump’s fundraising haul doubled what three Democrat U.S. presidents managed to pull in recently ($26 million) at a New York City fundraiser featuring controversial singer Lizzo, Breitbart reported.

The Democrat fundraiser pulled in the supposed star power of former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama alongside Joe Biden. Trump handily smashed that record number just days later, representing the observable uptick in national support for the 45th president’s bid to reclaim the White House.

Trump wrote on Truth Social on Saturday, “Biggest night in Fund Raising of ALL TIME!!! Will double up the Biden number of last week at Radio City. People are desperate for change. They want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!  DJT[.]”

The president spoke briefly to the press on Saturday evening about the historic fundraising haul. He said, “People are just wanting CHANGE. Rich people want it, poor people want it, everybody wants change. The country is really doing poorly, we’re a laughingstock all over the world. We’re going to get that changed very quickly.”

He called the fundraiser an “incredible evening” and noted that the support was because “people, they wanted to contribute to a cause of making America great again – and that’s what’s happening. We’re going to make America great again, everyone knows it.”

The president added that November 5, 2024, would be “the most important date in the history of our country.”
