President Donald Trump will head to the West Coast this week, where he will rub elbows with billionaires and Silicon Valley tech investors in a dazzlingly expensive fundraiser in the heart of the Bay Area.

As reported by RSBN, the president’s fundraiser will be held in San Francisco, California, and will be hosted by David Sacks and Chamath Palihapitiya. The event will cost attendees up to $500,000 to gain entry.

The fundraiser will likely be a huge success, based on the president’s track record this election cycle. On Sunday, President Trump’s son, Eric Trump, told Fox News that his father’s campaign had raised $200 million in the few days since the shocking New York guilty verdict was handed down in the president’s Manhattan hush-money case.

In April, Trump’s campaign raised more than $76 million, which knocked Biden’s previous record of $53 million out of the park.

For Trump, courting Golden State donors is a strategic move and a sign of his campaign’s dedication to utilizing strongholds of support in even the most powerful Democrat cities.

California is set to experience a stinging rise in gas prices as a climate-driven bill signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom in 2023 is slated to go into effect on July 1, 2024. Per KTLA5, the tax rate will increase by around two cents and could even increase as much as $1.15 per gallon as the years go by.

For Californians crushed by state taxes, President Trump’s commitment to lowering federal tax rates nationwide would likely be a welcome reprieve.

The president recently explained at a rally in New Jersey, “Instead of a Biden tax HIKE, I’ll give you a middle class, upper class, lower class, business class BIG TAX CUT – you’re going to have the BIGGEST TAX CUT. And we were set to do that…we took in more income after the tax cut, and the tax cut was massive.”

In San Francisco, rising crime is affecting residents’ quality of life, mirroring the national effects of lax law and order and the deluge of illegal immigration – a widespread epidemic that has led Trump’s campaign to focus on messaging that is largely related to securing the border and restoring justice.

According to SFATE, there were more than 100 reported homicides in San Francisco in 2023, and there were more than 31,000 cases of larceny-theft. Since the pandemic, there has also been a rapid upswell in homelessness in the Bay Area. Via ABC7, San Francisco Mayor London Breed has blamed the widespread homeless problem on victims’ refusal to take advantage of shelter benefits and on a lawsuit brought against the city by the “Coalition on Homeless.”

“The day I’m inaugurated is the day that LAW and ORDER, SANITY, and JUSTICE will return back to the United States of America,” Trump told Americans this year at the NRA Presidential Forum.

For Trump, heading out west will not only drum up financial support for his campaign, but it will be a welcome reminder to Golden State voters that in November, his agenda is laser focused on cleaning up not just California, but the entire country.
