President Donald Trump’s new “Save America” book debuted this week on the New York Times bestseller list.
Trump posted the news on his Truth Social account Thursday ahead of the official announcement by the publication.
“I just learned that my newest book, SAVE AMERICA, is a New York Times BEST SELLER! No other book takes you behind the scenes like this coffee table book. I picked each photo, and I can tell you it is FANTASTIC. Get your copy today at 45books.com,” he wrote.
The Sept. 22 list of New York Times bestsellers included the book at number 11 in the category of hardcover nonfiction books.
Trump’s book was a surprise on the list in some ways, as the retail price of the book is listed at $99. The 360-page book includes photos selected by the 45th president, including a cover featuring his “Fight!” image following the assassination attempt against him during his Butler, Pennsylvania rally.
“We are thrilled President Trump has made multiple bestseller lists, including the New York Times. Considering that his book is worth much more than any other book on the list, it’s an incredible accomplishment,” said Sergio Gor, CEO of Winning Team Publishing, according to the Washington Examiner.
The New York Times only includes books sold through retail outlets. The book would have likely ranked much higher if direct sales were included.
Trump’s book was released on Sept. 3. He promoted its debut online, including the opportunity to buy signed copies.

As RSBN previously reported, the book’s description offers more information on what readers will find in the image-focused title.
