President Donald Trump will bring a strong message to North Charleston, South Carolina, on Wednesday night, where he will speak to a packed-out venue on Valentine’s Day with just a little over one week to go until the Palmetto State’s GOP primary election.
“Under the Trump administration, YOU were better off, your FAMILY was better off, YOUR NEIGHBORS were better off, YOUR COMMUNITIES were better off, and OUR COUNTRY WAS BETTER OFF,” he will declare, according to speech excerpts from the Trump team.
President Trump will focus heavily on the stark contrast between his administration and the Biden administration’s reckless failure, stating that the country was “stronger, richer, safer, and more confident than ever when you had me behind that desk in the Oval Office.”
He will attack “Crooked Joe” and slam him for waging warfare on the Middle Class, calling Bidenomics a “smoldering wreckage” compared against “MAGANOMICS.”
President Trump will provide examples of inflation, and sky-high mortgage rates and speak to an “Affordability Crisis” that is crushing everyday Americans. He will additionally focus on the stock market, and the economic ruin Biden has inflicted on the country.
He will explain, “In short, Crooked Joe Biden did to our ECONOMY exactly what he did to our BORDER: he inherited amazing success from President Trump, he wrecked it, and turned it into something resembling a third-world nation.”
Tonight’s remarks are also poised to signal what appears to be the president’s shift from primary campaigning and into the general election, now that former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is effectively already beaten in the primary race, due to the president’s dominant polling.
Trump is currently leading Haley by 45 points in her home state, according to a survey from Main Street Research/Florida Atlantic.
