President Donald Trump’s freshly launched social media free speech platform, Truth Social, is taking a step forward in eliminating its backlog of wait-listed users by partnering with one of the most successful up and coming social media platforms on the Internet: Rumble.
During an interview with Newsmax’s Chris Salcedo, Trump Media & Technology Group CEO Devin Nunes revealed the company’s newly-built data center. The center’s addition will significantly improve Truth Social, which Nunes previously called “the fastest growing social media company in history.”
“We have this great data center that’s gonna allow us, over the next coming days, to get all of the people who have been waiting patiently in line to get on the platform,” Nunes revealed. “And remember, we had to roll this out. We had to beta test it. That’s why it’s been so great for the community that we have.”
According to Just the News, this data center upgrade is a cloud computing infrastructure that will operate in cohesion with Rumble, the wildly popular video streaming platform alternative to YouTube.
This upgrade will enable Truth Social to bring millions of users onto the platform rapidly.
Additionally, Nunes said that Truth Social would be launching a web app soon, which will allow users to access the social media platform and create profiles regardless of what device they have.
Currently, Truth Social is only available for download in the Apple Store, so broadening download capabilities would allow even more people to take part in the new social media experience.
Nunes added that Truth Social may be “providing an avenue for content creators” to produce “content on demand.”
Although Truth Social was only launched two months ago, the site is rapidly expanding, bringing excitement to those seeking to escape Big Tech censorship policies. “We’re giving the American people their voice back,” Nunes stated.
