America’s 250th Independence Day celebration will be a day to remember, as millions of patriots across the country join to honor the nation’s history, alongside their Commander-in-Chief.

During a special once-in-a-lifetime “Salute to America” event on Saturday, July 4th, the nation’s capital will be transformed into a colorful tapestry of fireworks, music, and flyovers.

“The Fourth of July Airshow, over Washington, D.C., our Great Capital, will be the biggest, by far, in the History of the United States of America,” the president said last week, foreshadowing the celebration.

He added, “Hundreds of Planes, of different types, sizes, and speeds, will be on display. It goes from 1:15 P.M. in the afternoon, until 11:30 in the evening. I will be speaking at approximately 9 P.M., preceding the Fireworks which again, like the Airshow, will be approximately ten times larger than any Fireworks in the History of our Country. So, if you like Airplanes and Fireworks and President Trump, be there!”

According to Freedom 250’s current information for the event, the celebration will take place at the Washington Monument Grounds in D.C., with musical performances and military flyovers kicking off at 1 PM EDT.

The Joint Armed Forces Orchestra is poised to launch the evening program at 7 PM EDT, which will include “national speakers.”

As reported by RSBN, a massive fireworks display is scheduled for the end of the night over the National Mall, which could reportedly start as late as 10:30 PM EDT (following President Trump’s remarks, expected around 9 PM ET, per his comments) and last as long as 40 minutes.

Saturday’s fireworks show will launch over 850,000 shells from 10 different sites, according to the event website, and may break the standing record for the world’s biggest fireworks show. Per RSBN, the standing Guinness World Record for a fireworks display featured around 810,000 shells in 2016.
