Turning Point USA has been on the frontlines of advocating for election integrity for the past several years, and as the nation turns its attention to the 2024 presidential election, the next few months will be critical in securing victory for conservatives.
Since 2020, Americans have been concerned about the integrity of their election processes and now, Turning Point Action is launching a brand-new tool that will help concerned citizens implement key legal ballot-chasing operations in battleground states.
Turning Point USA President Charlie Kirk announced on Monday that they had launched the “TPAction Mobile App,” which will be a “critical component to our boots on the ground, ballot-chasing operation.”
He explained on X:
“Our ballot-chasing army of paid and volunteer activists can now identify low propensity, conservative voters in their local communities. Did you know that Trump is winning with those who don’t vote as often? We must engage these citizens and get them to vote. 2024 is the make or break year. Chase ballots. Win elections.”
He followed up his initial post on X with some insight into voting patterns in America, noting that “frequent” voters tend to be Democrats. “TRANSLATION: We need to chase low prop voters,” he said.
“Low prop” generally refers to those voters who typically are not involved in casting ballots in U.S. elections, or at least do not do so frequently. Kirk explained that the new TPAction app “is your one-stop -shop to empower activists to knock on low propensity, Republican voters’ doors and get them to the polls.”
To utilize the app, users can download it through the Google Play or Apple App Store. Following a download, users will be prompted to enter their phone number and then move on to access voter lists, door-knocking routes, and the opportunity to upload data about how contacts lean politically.
Step Five of the app’s download procedure reads, “One simple call or text can be responsible for someone participating in an election! Relational organizing is the key to building activism and voter participation in key target communities.”
Turning Point’s newest tool also comes on the heels of national concern over Joe Biden’s 2021 Executive Order 14019, which aims at utilizing the full might of the federal government to implement a voter registration and ballot access program, which Kirk has described as “totally illegal” in past comments.
