After weeks of uncertainty, New York Judge Juan Merchan has finally decided to allow President Trump to attend the once-in-a-lifetime event of his youngest son’s high school graduation.

According to Just the News, the judge reportedly said Tuesday he does not “think the May 17 date is a problem,” referring to Barron Trump’s graduation date.

The judge previously indicated that he would not allow Trump to attend his son’s graduation and had even threatened Trump with jail time if he misses a day in court, according to the 45th president.

Discussing that possibility, Trump said, “We had some amazing things happen today. As you know, my son is graduating from high school, and it looks like the judge will not let me go to the graduation of my son, who’s worked very, very hard. He’s a great student. I’m very proud of the fact that he did so well.”
