On July 25, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to condemn Harris’s role as the border czar, citing her mishandling of the border. With a Republican majority, this vote reflected the growing national security concerns over the Biden administration’s negligence regarding border security and immigration.

According to H. RES. 253, Biden appointed Harris as the border czar on March 24, 2021, “to lead efforts to stem migration across the United States-Mexico border.”

However, Harris has deliberately done the opposite as the border czar by ignoring the increasing number of illegal immigrants crossing the border with her back turned.

Her lack of action has allowed illegal immigrants to enter the U.S. without proper vetting. In addition, Harris’s role as the border czar has created an unprecedented humanitarian crisis that is overwhelming border enforcement agencies.

The House addressing Harris’s failed efforts to secure our borders sends a clear message to her and the Biden administration about the urgent need for a more effective approach to secure our borders immediately.

Harris’s failure as the border czar emphasizes the urgent need to re-elect President Trump, who promises to implement effective leadership by sealing our borders on day one without delay to ensure America’s safety once again.
