The Trump administration has revealed that  “Waste and Abuse Run Deep” in the United States Agency for International Development  (USAID). This has sparked talk of plans to shut down the department entirely.

Last month, President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order temporarily freezing foreign aid for 90-days, via RSBN

Then, a Feb. 3 report released to the White House website noted various expenditures for questionable international programs. These include $32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru, $47,000 for a transgender opera in Columbia, $1.5 million to advance Serbian workforce Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs, $2 million for Guatemalan LGBT activism and sex changes, among other expenses.

On Wednesday morning, the Official Rapid Response Account of the Trump 47 White House posted another list of USAID expenses to X, stating, “USAID has been completely unaccountable for decades, run by bureaucrats with agendas who believed they answered to nobody.”

According to their post, $5 million in USAID funding went to a key NGO bat virus research group at the Wuhan lab in China–EcoHealth Alliance, $6.3 million went to gay men in South Africa who want to sleep with other men, $10 million provided meals for an al Qaeda-linked terrorist group and $20 million was paid to a group linked to a member of the Russiagate impeachment hoax.

Rumors that Politico received over $8 million from USAID have surfaced, with USASpending.gov displaying the financial specifics.

This led Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., to post about the situation on X, asking, “Why did Politico take $8.1 million of the American people’s hard earned tax dollars through USAID???”

“This is like forced subscriptions to a hard left blog that they didn’t want,” she added.

Fox News Host Laura Ingraham posted a clip of her coverage of the situation and noted, “USAID should’ve been disbanded years ago. It’s not foreign aid—it’s a foreign slush fund. Time to shut it down for good.”

Former Texas Congressman and Libertarian political legend Ron Paul discussed the potential to dismantle the agency in a video he posted to X, which he captioned, “Audit USAID…Then Shut it Down!”
