During the vice presidential debate, President Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance dominated the debate stage. He addressed American-made clean energy in response to the climate change question from the moderators. During Tuesday night’s debate, Vance emphasized Trump’s strong stance in protecting American jobs by leading the way in innovating clean energy made in American.

Vance has made it clear that he fully backs America being a global leader in clean energy. His vision resonated with Trump’s America First policies. He responded during the debate about cleaner energy and air:

“The real issue is if you’re spending hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars of taxpayer money on solar panels made in China, you’re going to make the economy dirtier — If you really want to make the environment cleaner, you have to invest in more energy production.”

Vance made provided a clear response to the left’s rhetoric on climate change by embracing domestic clean energy production in the U.S. instead of overseas where environmental businesses practices are worse.

The vice presidential candidate fully supported lowering energy costs for all Americans with a combination of oil production by expanding drilling and clean energy solutions to become more energy independent.
