The Trump campaign raised more funding than Joe Biden’s campaign during the second quarter of 2024, according to a news release on Tuesday.

Trump spokespersons Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles shared the latest statement that noted a total of $331 million in second-quarter fundraising.

“President Trump’s campaign fundraising operation is thriving day after day and month after month. Winning this quarter brought us a cash on hand advantage, which is punctuated by a Biden burn rate that grows while yielding no tangible results for them,” the statement read.

The fundraising win for the Trump campaign included leading Biden’s campaign over April and May, ending with including a reported $111.8 million in June alone.

Team Trump’s cash on hand at the end of June was $284.9 million compared to $240 million reported by Biden, according to the statement.

“Despite Biden spending nearly $120 million on tv, cable and radio alone, polling and voter enthusiasm continue to grow for President Trump. This fundraising momentum is likely to grow even more as we head into a world-class convention and see the Democrats continue their circular firing squad in the aftermath of Biden’s debate collapse,” LaCivita and Wiles noted.

The Biden campaign has sought to downplay Trump’s momentum following the first presidential debate, announcing that it took in $38 million in the days following the debate, including $30 from grassroots fundraising.

The official filings to the Federal Election Commission for the second quarter are due on July 15, with preliminary statements coming from the respective campaigns.

Biden’s campaign ranked ahead of the Trump campaign in fundraising early in the presidential race. However, Trump’s campaign first pulled ahead of Biden’s in April following the suspension of the campaigns of other major GOP presidential candidates.

The post-debate concerns over Biden have continued to grow among Democrats, with rumors of calling for the president to step down. The Biden campaign has repeatedly vowed that the president will continue his campaign.

Among Republicans, Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, and Rep. Clay Higgins, R-Louisiana, filed a resolution calling on Vice President Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment against Biden as unfit to carry out his duties as Commander-in-Chief.
