On Thursday, the world stood still as a New York jury rendered a guilty verdict to President Donald Trump in a Manhattan courtroom, hitting him hard with 34 counts related to the weeks-long hush-money case that captured the attention of the nation.

The verdict spurred a tidal wave of grassroots donations, leading to the complete crash of President Trump’s WinRed donation website, causing it to be unavailable for a short period of time on Thursday evening.

Trump Senior Advisor Dan Scavino explained on X, “WinRed is down due to the overwhelming amount of support out there, all across America! Stay strong, and thank you. The site will be up and running again soon!”

The website was quickly repaired and back up and running following its crash, as people across social media signaled that they would be making massive donations to President Trump in a show of solidarity and support.

Per Reuters, billionaires Miriam Adelson and Robert Bigelow pledged mega-donations to the 45th president and Silicon Valley tech leader Shaun Maguire threw $300,000 at the campaign – and that’s just the beginning.

Former New York Congressman Lee Zeldin revealed on Thursday evening that he had secured an $800,000 donation for the president’s fundraising committee after the verdict was announced.

It is likely that President Trump broke fundraising records on Thursday night, and at the very least, secured tens of millions of dollars in donations in a clean sweep as donors across the country rushed to show their continued support for his 2024 reelection campaign.

Per RSBN, the president’s sentencing is set for July 11, 2024, on the cusp of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. It is possible that he could be sentenced to jail time.

It is likely that this possibility, along with the shocking conviction over what essentially comes down to a paperwork dispute regarding legal expenses, has fueled Trump’s support among the American people.

Journalist Megyn Kelly remarked on Thursday, “Guilty on all counts. The country is disgraced. Alvin Bragg should be disbarred. They will rue the day they unleashed this lawfare to corrupt a presidential election.”

President Trump told the press yesterday, just moments after the verdict, “We’ll keep fighting. We’ll fight to the end and we’ll win because our country’s gone to hell.”
