Yankee Stadium gets a Trump surprise just before his South Bronx visit

Ardent supporters of the 45th president took their passion to the next level on Wednesday night at New York’s Yankee Stadium, unfurling a flag with President Trump’s famous Georgia mugshot and the words, “NEVER SURRENDER.”

The flag caught the attention of social media and was shared countless times online, igniting a discussion about the president’s scheduled Thursday visit to the South Bronx at Crotona Park.

President Trump shared the photo on his own social media platform, Truth Social, shortly after it surfaced online. Following a reported fundraising trip to Houston, Texas, midweek, Trump wrote in a Truth post that he was headed back to the Empire State to prepare for the South Bronx “Rally.”

He explained, “Heading for New York for the Big Rally in the South Bronx. It’s been 50 years since such a thing as this has taken place. We are going to Make New York Great Again!!! Far Lower Taxes, Safe, Jobs, Jobs, Jobs, Good Schools, and everything else that goes towards the American Dream!”

According to Axios, the South Bronx is 64 percent Hispanic and 31 percent Black, demonstrating Trump’s appeal with two powerful voting blocs in America who want to see a change in leadership in 2024.

A reported 10,000 tickets have already been reserved for the South Bronx Trump event on Thursday, hinting at what will likely be a dramatic turnout in one of New York’s most diverse areas.

Last week, the South Bronx marched in the streets and gathered in the park to support President Trump ahead of his visit. They showed up with signs and banners and featured speakers from the neighborhood.

“I am extremely proud to be an American. I am extremely proud to say that I will be voting for Trump in November!” one woman announced passionately on a microphone during the event.

President Trump’s historic South Bronx visit is scheduled for Thursday, May 23, at 6:00 p.m. ET. Watch on RSBN beginning at 5:00 p.m. ET.
