January 20 is around the corner, and patriots across the United States remain anxious and excited for President Donald J. Trump’s second term. A majority of Americans voted their conscience, admitting strong leadership was needed in such unknown days facing the nation. Similar to other times in history, the economy is in shambles, foreign threats are growing, allied nations are at war and crime is rampant throughout the country.

Now is a time for Americans to unite in their support for President Trump and to keep him in their daily prayers. From his own mouth, Trump has mentioned he has grown closer to God following the July 13th assassination attempt. Anyone who was present or viewed the events knew divine providence was at play. The president’s unwavering strength and courage showed that even in the darkest of times, there is light.

The president has been active in the past few weeks, giving a glimpse at some of his plans for national security, economic restoration, and ultimately assisting the everyday American. Hostile nations to democracy and freedom have also been put on notice that their tyranny will come to an end, including a direct demand to release the October 7 hostages.

The task that President Trump faces is not an easy one. He will be confronted with opposition, doubters and a lack of cooperation at times. Nevertheless, Trump is a strong individual, battle-tested like we have not seen in recent history. This gives his followers and fellow Americans even more reason to pray for his endurance and success. Let his perseverance and faith remind us to stand firm in prayer, having faith that, with God’s support, this country can confront any challenge.

Trump’s agenda has always been to restore America to greatness. It is hopeful that Americans share the same sentiment and can assist him in being vocal on the seriousness of restoring American pride and principles. The tenets of Christianity are focused on freedom, justice, and deliverance from evil. If the American people were true to themselves, they would acknowledge that the nation needs the restoration of such ideals.

America is the beacon of hope, the nation that has always defended freedom across the world. For all the dark hours and complaints, it still stands as the place where most people seek to migrate from all over the earth. Trump’s task will not be easy, but he is the perfect person to lead the nation in such times of doubt. We must pray for his strength and wisdom as he leads us through this critical time in history.
