President Donald Trump did not mince words when ripping Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., Saturday before the largest crowd in the history of Wyoming.
“Liz Cheney is about America last,” the president contended while speaking at a Save America rally in Casper.
Adding that she has been “weak on border security,” Trump criticized the congresswoman for aiding Democrats in Washington, D.C.
“In many ways worse than the terrible Democrats are the backstabbing, RINO Republicans who are helping them do their act,” he said. “And there is no RINO in America who has thrown in her lot with the radical left more than Liz Cheney. She has gone crazy.”
Further slamming Cheney as a low-polling “lapdog for Pelosi” and a “human soundbite machine” for leftwing news outlets, the president called out the representative for neglecting the best interests of her constituents.
“Wyoming deserves a congresswoman who stands up for you and your values – not one who spends all of her time putting you down and going after your president in the most vicious way possible, and loving endless, nonsensical, bloody, horrible wars that never end,” said the 45th president.
Lastly, pointing out that Cheney’s popularity both in Washington, D.C. and at home was waning, Trump confidently declared, “Two months from now, the people of Wyoming are going to tell her, ‘Liz, you’re FIRED!’”
