Americans are celebrating the end of mask mandates after U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle vacated the CDC’s mask mandate for public transportation on Monday.

Political activist Benny Johnson responded to Americans celebrating the end of mask mandates, saying, “WOW. Passengers REJOICE, flight attendants SING and DANCE while pilots CHEER from the cockpit as Joe Biden’s mask mandate is struck down in midair. Goosebumps.”

Video footage of passengers, flight attendants, and pilots shows Americans’ incredible excitement and relief as they are finally freed from two years of Covid-19 mask mandates and travel restrictions.

In a video shared by Benny Johnson, passengers begin cheering and clapping after receiving news that the federal court nullified the mask mandates. In another clip, a flight attendant sings, “throw away your mask,” as the passengers loudly celebrate the announcement. A third video clip captures flight attendants jumping and celebrating with the passengers as they announce the end of mask requirements.

After the announcement, Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., tweeted, “Great to see a federal judge in Florida follow the law and reject the Biden transportation mask mandate. Both airline employees and passengers deserve to have this misery end.”

Author Jesse Scott shared his experience at an airport, saying, “I’m at the Austin airport. Just watched a janitor throw her hands up in the air and yell, ‘No more masks, yeah!’ This was followed by a singing of ‘No more masks! No more masks!'”

The Federalist reported one flight crew played “Celebration” over the speakers to commemorate the moment passengers and employees no longer were required to wear masks.
