President Donald Trump headed home on Thursday evening after being processed at the Fulton County jail on 41 counts related to an indictment brought against him by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

The president was booked in the jail and then released. 18 former and current Trump allies were also charged in the case.

After his arrest, the president’s booking details trended on social media platforms as users discussed Trump’s charges and awaited the release of his mugshot – the first time in history that a former president of the United States has ever had a mugshot taken.

This marks the fourth indictment for the president this year, following charges in Manhattan, Miami, and Washington, D.C.

Before arriving in Georgia, the president wrote on Truth Social, “…I have to start getting ready to head down to Atlanta, Georgia, where Murder and other Violent Crimes have reached levels never seen before, to get ARRESTED by a Radical Left, Lowlife District Attorney, Fani Willis, for A PERFECT PHONE CALL, and having the audacity to challenge a RIGGED & STOLEN ELECTION. THE EVIDENCE IS IRREFUTABLE! ARREST TIME: 7:30 P.M.”
