President Trump’s former advisor, Steve Bannon, surrendered to prison at the Federal Correctional Institution on July 1 to begin his four-month sentence after defying a subpoena from the House Select Committee for refusing to testify in a deposition and to provide documents related to the January 6th investigation.
The Democrats continue to orchestrate locking up their political opponents as their political strategy in a pivotal election year.
Bannon proudly calls himself a “political prisoner” in the hands of the political corruption from Nancy Pelosi and Biden. The Supreme Court also refused to listen to Bannon’s appeal to avoid prison on June 28.
Throughout his legal battles with the weaponized DOJ, President Trump showed his full support for Bannon, who spoke out for the mistreatment of Trump supporters, who were imprisoned unfairly on January 6. The justice system is broken, and conservatives stand strong with Bannon before he served his prison sentence at a press conference.
He said during his speech:
“I am proud to go to prison. If this is what it takes to stand up to tyranny. If this is what it takes to stand up to the Garland corrupt, criminal DOJ. If this is what it takes to stand up to Nancy Pelosi this is what it takes to stand up to Joe Biden, I’m proud to do it.”
Bannon stood strong in holding the line without fear while the Democrats silenced both him and his show during an election year.
Bannon’s imprisonment grows his reputation as a leading conservative voice who will not back down against the left-leaning justice system.
