Pro-woman activist and swimmer Riley Gaines was attacked this week while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at San Francisco State University.
Riley Gaines is a natural-born female who was pitted against a biological male, Lia Thomas, who identifies as a woman, during the NCAA women’s swimming championship. She has faced harsh criticism for speaking out against males competing as females and has been censored in the past for expressing her views on the subject, according to the Daily Caller.
Riley tweeted a video of the attack, Friday, stating, “I was ambushed and physically hit twice by a man. This is proof that women need sex-protected spaces.”
In the video, she is mobbed while trying to escape the angry crowd who followed her shouting threats leading to the assault.
The right to fair competitions based on sex has become an increasingly controversial topic as the Biden Administration broadens efforts to insert trans athletes into more physical competitions.
Even Swimming World Magazine released an article displaying the physical advantages that biological male swimmers, like Lia Thomas, hold over natural-born females.
Despite her violent encounter, Riley Gaines expressed a greater desire to fight for her cause, stating, “When they want you silent, speak louder.”
