The late Turning Point USA President Charlie Kirk reportedly helped save TikTok in 2024, hot on the heels of President Donald Trump’s huge reelection win.

According to a new report from Axios, Kirk allegedly helped arrange a meeting between TikTok and President Trump at the latter’s famed West Palm Beach manor, Mar-a-Lago.

The report alleged that Kirk coached TikTok on how to make its case to President Trump, emphasizing the Trump campaign’s monstrously successful social media numbers on the platform, which reached millions of potential young voters in the 2024 presidential election cycle.

Former Trump campaign advisor Jason Miller told the outlet that the late Charlie Kirk was “massively, massively influential because Charlie was as MAGA as you get. This is one of the countless examples since the president entered public life where he said: ‘I’m going to follow my gut, and I’m going to do this.’ You also had a bit of boomer-splaining going on — people looking at TikTok purely as a public-policy decision as opposed to a lifestyle [for] younger voters.”

As reported by RSBN, just last month, TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, finalized a deal with non-Chinese investors to establish a U.S.-owned branch of the company that reaches billions of global users.

Many Americans may recall that TikTok faced an uncertain future following Biden-era legislation that ordered the Chinese-rooted company to divest its platform to a majority U.S. ownership or else cease operations in America. Since taking office, President Donald Trump has consistently extended the deadline on the ordered divestiture to avoid shutting the platform down.

The perpetual punting of the TikTok deadline has finally yielded dividends, with the president celebrating last month’s deal as a big political win.

“I am so happy to have helped in saving TikTok!” he wrote on Truth Social. “It will now be owned by a group of Great American Patriots and Investors, the Biggest in the World, and will be an important Voice. Along with other factors, it was responsible for my doing so well with the Youth Vote in the 2024 Presidential Election.”

Shortly following Charlie Kirk’s tragic assassination last September, President Trump foreshadowed the pending TikTok deal and gave credit to his late ally and confidante. “If you take a look at my numbers, no Republican has ever done anything like it. We got massive numbers of youth, and, by the way, helped very much by Charlie Kirk,” the president said. “It probably had a pretty big effect on the election because we won the election by a lot,” he said, per Fox News.
