Arizona Democrat Secretary of State Katie Hobbs has found herself in hot water thanks to leaked emails that surfaced over the weekend showing evidence that her office allegedly worked with Twitter to flag and censor accounts on the social media platform.

Hobbs, who claims to be the winner of the Arizona gubernatorial election despite an avalanche of incompetency and widespread reported voter disenfranchisement, has been cast in an unflattering light thanks to leaked correspondence between her communications director and Big Tech.

Per The Post Millennial, the documents were revealed as part of the “Twitter Files” released by Twitter CEO and owner Elon Musk this month, shedding light on what appears to be dirty collusion between the social media giant and the government, political campaigns, and more.

“Conflict of Interest, Coercion, Corruption[,]” Kari Lake wrote on Twitter.

Lake is the Trump-endorsed GOP gubernatorial nominee in Arizona.

Trump attorney Christina Bobb commented on the leaked emails on Twitter, citing the shocking nature of the alleged messages exchanged between Hobbs’ office and the Center for Internet Security (CIS):

“Unreal! Katie Hobbs’s office contacts Twitter to have posts removed! So, the democrat candidate, who ran the AZ election, censored her political opponents, disrupted Election Day votes, and then threatened counties with prosecution if they didn’t declare her the winner.”

The Republican Party of Arizona also reacted to the evidence of reported censorship and Big Tech collusion from Hobbs’ office. “.@GeneralBrnovich we hope you are taking a serious look into @SecretaryHobbs,” they wrote in a Twitter statement. “At a minimum, Arizonans deserve to know what accounts/tweets were censored. The First Amendment was created to protect citizens against the government, Not the other way around.”

One of the leaked emails read, “I’m [redacted] communications director for the Office of the Arizona Secretary of State…I am flagging this twitter account for your review.”

Per The Post Millennial, Twitter responded several hours later, confirming that the tweets had “been removed from the service.”

Kari Lake further pointed out that the Twitter Files had revealed the truth to the world.

“They called us Election Deniers for two years for pointing out that Big Tech helped rig the 2020 election by censoring the Biden laptop,” she wrote. “Now their ‘Big Lie’ has been revealed. What else are they lying about?”
